At twenty-seven weeks gestation, Jackie started hemorrhaging, and she was life-flighted from her Idaho home down to Salt Lake City, Utah. There, she delivered Talia, who only weighed two pounds and twelve ounces. I can't even imagine a child that tiny, and yet, this little lady continued to beat the odds.
Over the next couple of months, the Criswells had to divide their time between home and the hospital, as Talia wasn't strong enough to be discharged. They have other children to care for and jobs to hold down, so they traveled back and forth, trying to be in multiple places at once. It's over three hours from their home to the hospital, and gas isn't cheap - neither is time lost from work.
And this is where you come in.
Your generous donations can help set this family back on their feet and take away a small bit of worry so they can concentrate on their children. Talia is getting stronger every day, but she still has a long ways to go, and we can each do our part to cheer her along her path.
